Join people, not places…
Being in the Nation’s Capital has its benefits. People spend summers visiting things you can visit in a weekend, you’re at the political hub of the US, and there’s a strong PF blogging group.
Surprised by that last one? So was I.
ORIGIN
If you read my 3-month Performance Review, you’ll know I made several mentions to the local support I’ve been receiving. Starting out with Shawanda, the introductions started snowballing. Funny once you realize the amount of overlap within these circles, I already Daniel from the Yakezie before we met.
PURPOSE
The group serves a social function, which is a nice break from the rigors of blogging. 
Primarily, the group tries to arrange a bi-monthly/monthly Happy Hour event for anyone interested. It’s been way too long, but finally took the time to generate a Twitter list to follow this group.
