This week is supposed to be the week that negotiations wrap up for the stimulus bill, but it seems it won’t be. Many different aspects of the new bill are still undecided. This leads me to believe that we will be waiting a week or so longer to get anything finalized. While they claim that a deal may be met later today, I am very skeptical. We will go over this video update by Meet Kevin to look things over, and see where the negotiations are.

Why Listen to Meet Kevin?

Meet Kevin may be a real estate YouTuber, but he has used his notoriously diligent research skills for the past month or so on stimulus updates. So, corroborate anything you hear on your own, but check out what he has to tell us.

Stimulus Update Summary

Like I said, it looks like the stalemate continues. Congress seems to be touting the same progress they have been fore a week or so. At the same time, they are contending over the same exact disagreements they were a week ago. While this could change at any time, congress haven’t proven to be very quick on concessions toward eachother. So, while there is a small chance for an exception, it seems as though their set deadline of this weekend will not be met. Looking forward, it seems the only things that are close to guaranteed are another $1,200 stimulus check and extension of eviction protections.
