In Latin America, placing a gold ring in your drink during the New Year’s Eve toast is believed to bring good fortune for the upcoming year. Just be careful not to swallow it!

12 Grapes at Midnight

In Spain and some Latin American countries, it is a tradition to eat 12 grapes at the stroke of midnight. Each grape represents a month of the upcoming year, and it is believed that eating them quickly brings good luck for each month.
