These 15 States Have Donated the Most Money for Donald Trump’s 2024 Presidential Campaign

Published:

Trump has been a polarizing figure in the world of politics. However, he’s managed to raise the most money of any presidential candidate for the 2024 election. He campaigns hard, and the rewards have come in. Certain states have given more than others, with the major population centers giving the most.

Even states that are blue or purple have donated quite a bit to his campaign.

California, believe it or not, was once a very red state, but today it’s bright blue. Nonetheless, its citizens have donated the most to Trump’s campaign of any state at $6.17 million.

As a highly populated state and the popularity of the Republican party there, it’s no wonder that Texas is in second place for its donations to Trump’s campaign. Its citizens have given about $4.99 million to his campaign.

Florida

Florida is a red state that is highly interested in Trump. However, their governor, Ron DeSantis, is also running for president. This has caused much of the Republican donations to be split between the two candidates. Florida residents have given Trump $4.63 million.

New York is known for strongly leaning left. Since 1988, it has voted for Democratic candidates in presidential elections. However, there are still Trump fans within this population. They’ve donated $1.76 million to Trump’s campaign.

Michigan has been a Democrat state for a long while, though Trump did win there in 2016. This makes it hard to gauge how the state will vote. We do know that they like Trump, donating $1.24 million to him.

As a swing state, candidates clamor for Ohio’s votes and try to get it to swing their way. The people of this purple state have given $1.21 million to Trump to help him win the presidency.

New Jersey is the land of millionaires with more of them than any other state. However, this didn’t translate into a lot being donated to Trump. The state gave Trump just $1.09 million.

Virginia

A highly Democrat state, Virginia didn’t give much to Trump. After all, Virginia was the only Southern state to vote for Clinton over Turmp in 2016. For Trump’s re-election, residents have only given $1.08 million.
