With an election imminent, it’s time for fundraising by the candidates. While there are a handful of candidates that people hear a lot about, there are dozens of candidates raising money for their presidential runs.
Winning a presidential race takes enormous money, and individuals and companies donate to campaigns to give their favorite candidate a better shot at the office.
Donald Trump

People either love him or hate him. No matter which camp you’re in, it’s easy to see that Trump knows how to raise money. He has raised the most money for this campaign with a whopping $60.5 million.
Joe Biden

Joe Biden has come close to Trump with $56.7 million raised for this Democrat candidate. Like Trump, he has an enormous number of fans who want him to be the next president. He’s also the incumbent, giving him a leg up over some of the competition.
Ron DeSantis

As a candidate who has never been the president, Governor DeSantis of Florida has nonetheless raised a lot for his Republican campaign. He’s been given a total of $31.6 million to get his name out there.
Vivek Ramaswamy

Republican candidate Ramaswamy never had a great chance of becoming the president, and he dropped out after a very poor showing at the Iowa caucus. Still, he was able to raise $26.6 million for his campaign. Unfortunately, this is less than half of what Trump raised for his campaign.
Nikki Haley

Many people like the former ambassador’s views and have pushed to try to get her into the White House. She’s been campaigning hard and has raised $18.7 million to try for the seat of the chief executive.
Doug Burgum

It’s easy to forget this candidate who dropped out of the race fairly early. After a lackluster performance at Republican debates, he didn’t get far. However, he was able to raise $15.1 million for his run.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Kennedy seemed to come from nowhere and eventually ran as an independent. The candidate has the cache of the Kennedy name, but independents generally have a poor history of attracting votes. He’s raised a little over $15 million.
Perry Johnson

As a Republican candidate, Johnson hasn’t gotten a lot of press. He also hasn’t been able to come close to the two main candidates in his fundraising. He was able to raise $14.5 million.
Ryan Binkley

As a Republican candidate for the 2024 election, Binkley wasn’t able to raise as much as the better-known candidates. With a little over $7 million raised, he didn’t get his name out there as much as he could have with more funds.
Chris Christie

Christie came into the Republican race already well-known because of his past political office. He dropped out early in the race because of poor debate results. Before he did so, he managed to raise $5.4 million.
Mike Pence

Everyone already knew Republican Pence when he started in the race because he was once Trump’s vice president. Still, he never made a big impact on the race and raised only $4.5 million.
Marianne Williamson

As a Democrat candidate, Williamson sought to get the nomination away from President Biden. She had run before and had been a popular author before this race. During it, she raised $2.6 million.
William Hurd

One of the candidates who was less well-known was this Republican. With just $1.45 million raised, it wasn’t enough to get a large fanbase or to make a big impression on voters.
Larry Elder

Elder has been in the media for a long time as a radio host and political commentator. He managed to raise $1.43 million for a stab at the Republican nomination.
Francis Suarez

As a longshot for the office of president, Republican candidate Suarez didn’t make a big splash during his run for the presidency. He raised only $1.42 million for his campaign.
