A state that makes this balance easier will have a fast internet speed, high wages, plenty of jobs, a lot of tech institutions, and a high tech-savvy score. According to AIPRM, these are the best places to work remotely and have a great work-life balance.

Washington

One of the tech capitals of the U.S., Washington has 30 tech institutions and a total employment of more than 206,000. The mean hourly wage there is almost $65 an hour, and the state has a tech-savvy score of 89.50 out of 100.

California

Another state where tech jobs loom large is California. It has 144 tech institutions and a total employment of almost 735,000. The mean hourly wage is a whopping $79. The state earns a tech-savvy score of 88.40.

This city is also well-known for its tech jobs, and it has six tech institutions. It also has very fast internet speeds, rating 8.89 out of 10. Its mean hourly wage is $59, and it has a tech-savvy score of 87.90.

Massachusetts

As the home of MIT, this state immediately springs to mind for many interested in tech jobs. It has a mean hourly wage of $61, and it has 42 tech institutions. It earns a tech-savvy score of 87.60. It also boasts fast Internet speeds.

New Jersey
