It’s easy to judge the success of an artist based on how many Grammys they’ve won or by how much money they’ve made. A better look at success, however, is to see how many singles they’ve released relative to the number of Grammys they’ve won.
These artists are the most successful based on these metrics.
Methodology
BonusInsider trawled through the records on the Grammys website and various other online resources to get all our raw data on Grammy Awards and Grammy nominations. They then used Wikipedia and Mojim to determine how many singles each artist had released.
They compiled statistics for:
- Every Grammy winner that has won over 10 Grammy Awards
- The number of singles each of these artists has released, either as a band or solo artist
- The number of times each of these artists has been nominated for a Grammy
They then looked at various comparisons and ratios to get the ranking charts. This list only counts non-classical performing artists on our list.
