Going out to eat is one of life’s greatest pleasures, but it can cost a lot of money and become a really budget-buster if you are not careful. Unfortunately, when you are on a budget, eating out often is the first thing that gets cut from the budget. But there are ways for you save money and eat out if you really want too!

Here are fifteen ways to ensure you can still visit your favorite restaurants without making it a guilty pleasure.

Check for Online Deals

Websites like Groupon are fantastic for finding ways to try new restaurants or even stopping by one of your favorite haunts without compromising your menu choices.

Go on the Right Days

Many restaurants will have deals on the quieter days like Mondays and Tuesdays. Time can also be a factor; aim to hit up restaurants during happy hour when they often have a good drink or app deal.

This is more of a budgeting tip, but planning your meal could help determine what you can afford when you go out. Check the website and browse the menu to get a feel for what you could potentially spend.
