Allergies can strike people just about anywhere, but some places are more likely than others to induce an allergic reaction. Some places have high scores for their weed, grass, and tree pollen.

These areas also tend to have a high rate of usage of over-the-counter allergy medications. They also have a problem with having enough board-certified immunologists and allergists. These are the top cities for all of these criteria, according to The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

Wichita, Kansas

The amount of pollen in Wichita is pretty average. However, a high number of people use over-the-counter allergy meds, and there aren’t enough allergy specialists for the population.

This scenic city has enough allergy specialists. They’re badly needed because this area has higher-than-average pollen and higher-than-average use of OTC allergy medications.

Greenville is very green, and that leads to allergies. This city has an average number of allergens and enough allergy specialists for the area. However, it has a high rate of people using allergy medicines.
