The 10 Safest Vehicles on the Road in the Whole World

With the many dangers on the road, everyone needs a safe car. However, not all are as safe as others. Various associations test vehicles to assess how safe vehicles are. The results from three of these were used to figure out which vehicles were the very safest.

Some of these are available in the U.S., but some aren’t. According to CompareTheMarket, these are the safest vehicles on the road.

BYD Seal

This vehicle is an electric sedan that isn’t sold in North America. It has been tested by ANCAP and Euro NCAP, two rating institutes, that each gave the safety five stars out of five.

BYD Dolphin

This is an electric hatchback that has also attracted five stars from stringent safety tests. It has a wide range of safety devices standard, including a 360-degree camera system and lane assist.

Kia Sportage

The Sportage is a medium-sized SUV that has five-star ratings for safety and has a lot of standard safety features. These include automatic emergency braking and a reversing camera.

Mitsubishi Outlander

This is an SUV perfect for families. It got five stars from ANCAP and NHTSA gave it four stars. It has automatic emergency braking and a reversing camera that are standard in every country it’s available in. In the U.S., some models also have lane assist.

Tesla Model Y

This electric SUV has five-star safety reviews from the NHTSA, Euro NCAP, and ANCAP. Out of all of the cars on this list, it has the highest safety scores. It has several standard safety features including a lane assist system.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Both EURO NCAP and ANCAP have given this luxury sedan safety scores of five stars. The car has a rear-view camera, lane support, and automatic emergency braking standard.

Honda Civic

This is a small hatchback that has five-star scores from NHTSA and Euro NCAP. It has a wide range of safety features standard including a lane assist system and a reversing camera.

Toyota Kluger/Highlander

As a large SUV, it’s an extremely safe vehicle that has five-star safety ratings from both NHTSA and ANCAP. It hasn’t yet been rated by Euro NCAP. Even the base model has several important safety features.

This is a smaller electric SUV that has plenty of five-star ratings for safety and several safety features that are standard on all the variants. It isn’t sold in North America.

Hyundai Tucson

The base variant of this medium-sized SUV comes with lane support, a rear-view camera, and automatic emergency braking. It’s also gotten five stars from NHTSA, Euro NCAP, and ANCAP for its high level of safety.
