Boomers have their own ways of seeing things, and some of their opinions and preferences can easily be seen as outdated. However, there are a lot of things that Boomers say and do that many other people can agree with. Boomers often have more in common with other generations than we know.

More and more restaurants aren’t giving you a menu at all. They instead have a QR code that you scan with your phone, and this shows you the menu. Why do we need to do this? What if we’re trying to keep our phones put away while enjoying a meal?

No Filming Us in Public

Boomers don’t want to be filmed while they’re out in public and splashed across YouTube. Other generations can sympathize with this issue. No one wants to be filmed without their consent, even if it is perfectly legal.

Not Talking to a Machine

How many times have you called a business for help and ended up talking to a machine? Boomers want to speak to a real person to explain their problem, and most people heartily agree.

Uneven Movie and TV Volume

You can barely hear the dialogue in a movie or show, so you turn it way up to listen to it. Then, it gets extremely loud, and you’re scrambling to turn it back down. Why do creators do this to us?
